Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the glowapp mobile application and website (together, the "Service"). The Service is operated by Cool App Company Ltd ("glowapp", "we"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. What glowapp is — and isn't
glowapp is not a dermatologist, doctor, or medical device. The Service provides cosmetic and informational content only: skin scores, routines, product verdicts and AI answers are general wellness information, not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
If you have a skin condition (such as acne, rosacea, eczema, or psoriasis), allergies, sensitive skin, or take medication that affects your skin, consult a qualified healthcare professional before following any routine or recommendation. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for adverse or unwanted effects that result from following a routine, product verdict, or recommendation shown in the Service.
2. Do not use while pregnant or breastfeeding
Do not use glowapp if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Routines may reference ingredients (for example retinoids or salicylic acid) that can be unsuitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Ask your doctor or midwife about skincare during this time.
3. No guaranteed results
Any goals, projections, or timelines shown in the Service (for example "reach your dream skin in X days") are illustrative and not guaranteed. Skin is individual: results vary and depend on, among other things, precisely and consistently following the recommendations, the products you actually use, and factors outside our control such as genetics, diet, environment, and underlying conditions.
4. AI can make mistakes
Glow AI and our analysis features are powered by artificial intelligence and can make mistakes. Product verdicts, ingredient matches, and recommendations may be incomplete, outdated, or wrong. Always check them yourself: read the product label, follow the manufacturer's instructions, and patch-test new products before use. You are responsible for the decisions you make based on the Service.
5. Who may use the Service
You must be at least 13 years old — or older where your local law requires it (for example 16 in parts of the EEA) — and old enough to consent to the processing of your face images. The Service is for personal, non-commercial use.
6. Your account
You are responsible for your account and for keeping your login secure. Provide accurate information and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these Terms.
7. Subscriptions and purchases
Some features require a paid subscription, billed through your App Store account. Prices are shown before you buy. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; manage or cancel them in your App Store settings. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable — refund requests are handled by Apple.
8. Emails and communications
By creating an account, you agree that we may send you service communications by email (such as receipts, security notices, and changes to these Terms). With your consent where required, we may also send you tips, product news, and offers — you can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time via the link in each email or in your settings.
9. Acceptable use
- Only upload images of yourself, or images you have the right to upload. Do not upload photos of other people without their permission.
- Do not misuse, reverse-engineer, scrape, or disrupt the Service, and do not use it to build a competing product.
- Do not use the Service in any way that violates applicable law.
10. Intellectual property
The Service, including its design, software, and content, belongs to glowapp or its licensors. You keep ownership of the photos you upload and grant us the license needed to operate the Service (including generating your analysis and showing your progress), as described in our Privacy Policy.
11. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that results will meet your expectations.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, glowapp and its team are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
13. Changes to the Service and these Terms
We may change or discontinue features, and we may update these Terms. If a change is material, we will notify you (for example by email or in the app) before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Cyprus, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence remain unaffected.
